Welcome back after the holidays everyone.
Hope you had a peaceful, rejeuvenating break.
Here are our dates for focus group meetings this term. Please mark them in your diaries. Remember, if you can’t make it to the one that is scheduled for your group then you are able to attend one of the other three venues, but let me know so that you will be catered for foodwise !
EAST focus group (Bucklands Beach) July 30, August 27
SOUTH focus group (Everglade) July 31, August 28
WEST focus group (Waimauku) August 6, September 3
CENTRAL focus group (Onehunga) August 13, September 10
The course content this term follows on from authentic learning and questioning and will include ideas for meeting specific high ability needs and a chance to meet Ferlumpel.

Robyn Boswell has produced a great resource based on the Beijing olympic games. It is available FREE from http://www.thinks.co.nz/ . This New Zealand publisher has a heap of great resources to assist classroom teachers, at very reasonable prices. You can opt to purchase hard copy books or download as e-books via the internet. Well worth the visit.
